K-2 Phonics Skills

Service Description

Our K–2 Phonics tutoring sessions are designed to help young learners build the foundational reading skills they need to become confident, successful readers. Through engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction, students will strengthen their ability to recognize letters, understand sounds, and blend them together to read words. Our certified teachers support students in developing key early literacy skills, including: • Letter recognition and letter-sound relationships • Beginning, middle, and ending sounds • Blending sounds to read simple words • Segmenting words into individual sounds • Sight word recognition • Decoding CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant words) • Phonemic awareness and listening skills • Reading simple sentences and short passages
